He was looking for someone else, the person that he knew he could count on even though the world turned against him. He was disappointed that Therry didn’t come not until he heard the door opened. It was Therry. He can’t help but smile. He appreciate that he came despite everything.
He was his brother no matter what happens. He may not been the usual brother he always had for the past few months but he also knew he deserved it. He knew how much the man loved Meahri.
For him, Meahri was like a real sister and after what Vhynce did, there was no way for him to just let it go.
There was a lot of work that needed to be done and Vhynce knew the manpower he has now wouldn’t be enough but he’d make it work. He needed to make it work. If he needed to work day and night just to make this work, he would. He’d forget about sleep if he had to.
He stepped in and closed the door behind him. Everyone looked at him. He wasn’t the Vhynce they all knew. He was still handsome but he was less perfect. He looked like someone who had been thinking a lot for days and someone who haven’t been sleeping. Everyone in the room knew why.
He walked towards the room and went to the middle of the table. He put down the folders and his phone. It was time to carry out his plan.
“I called everyone here today because I need everyone’s help with the US tour I’ll have next month.”
After his last word, everyone started murmuring.
“I know this is a last minute call and it sounds impossible especially we’re already in the middle of the month. We only have 2 weeks to prepare for this so this means there would be a lot of work and also less sleep. Probably no sleep.” He stopped when he saw that Rayle seemed to want to say something.
“Rayle, spill it.” He said.
“Why did you suddenly decide to have a US tour?” He sounded hesitant.
“Ok here’s the thing. Each and every one of you knows what I had with Meahri. Everyone also knows I was an ass. Yes. I finally know it. Thank you for not telling me.” Everyone laughed at his confession. It was the truth. They all knew he was an ass for what he did to Meahri but none of them said a thing. Whether they did it for him or it was what Meahri asked of them, it didn’t matter.
“You should thank Meahri not us. She was the one who asked all of us to not say a thing about her after that incident.” Rayle admitted and everyone agreed with him.
He was left speechless. He never knew that. Of course he won’t. No one told him and he wasn’t the type who can sense those kinds of things. He was stupid after all. Well, at least when it comes to Meahri and his feelings for her. He’d never know it until someone tell him.
“I’m pretty sure he knows that.” Peter said sarcastically.
“Obviously I don’t. I suck at this that’s why I need everyone’s help.” He almost sounded like he was begging.
“You’re a fucking millionaire so why don’t you use your money to do it instead of asking us?” Serah, one of the staff he worked with in the past asked. She wasn’t trying to put more salt on the wound but she was known for being a straightforward girl.
All RMM members were surprised with her words since they didn’t know Serah but for Vhynce, Ryan, and Peter it was normal. They knew the girl since Vhynce entered the industry.
“As expected from you Serah. Well obviously I can do that but I chose not to.”
Serah was about to ask why but she didn’t have to because he already beat her to it.
“I don’t want to get her back with just my money. I don’t want to use that to get her back. Instead, I decided to use my rockstar card to get her back. She’s my fangirl and it’s my responsibility to get her back as her rockstar.”
“Besides, instead of putting money in this, I want to put my effort, my time, and my love for her on this. I want her to feel that I’m sincere… that I really really really want her back in my life.”
Everyone was dumbfounded. They’d never seen him like this but who were they to judge? The guy fell in love. It was not a sin. They too wanted to doubt him after what he did but they can’t not believe in him. Not when his eyes was filled with sincerity.
“This would be a charity tour so everything that we’d earn from this would go to Animal Welfare Organization. It’s the animal organization that Meahri is helping. I know this would have a lot of expenses since we’ll travel a lot and none of you needs to worry about this. It’s all on me and I assure that all of you will be paid accordingly.”
“What I can’t assure is you’d get enough sleep for the next two weeks and the one month span of the tour. If you think you can’t do it, I’m giving you the chance to leave now. I won’t hold it against you.”
There was silence in the room. He waited for anyone to leave. He waited for a few minutes to let them decide but after that, no one left. None of them even moved from their places.
“There’s no turning back now. This coming six weeks will be very busy for us.” He admitted and took his seat. Everyone took it as a sign that the meeting was about to start so they took their seat.
He gave out the folders as he went through with his plan.
Ryan and Peter would focus on everything about planning their schedule, booking the venue, their plane tickets, their hotels and their car services.
His RMM family was responsible of working with Vhynce on his concert performances. He wanted all his artists to be part of this tour so he wanted each of them to participate. He wanted each of them to have their own part.
It wasn’t only his tour but it was also somehow his family’s tour, his family who had been with him through thick and thin. The people he knew he could count on anytime he needed help.
His staffs were responsible of organizing the concert and also marketing it. They needed to make sure that his fans would know about his US tour. They needed to reach as much fans as they can.
When he was still with Meahri, she was part of RMM’s marketing team. She was the one responsible of designing anything that would help the event to get more attention but now that she left him, he didn’t have anyone else but his staffs. He needed to trust them and he does.
He gave Therry the responsibility of knowing more about Meahri. Since he was the one he knew who was currently the closest to her, he needed Therry to use it to help him. They needed to find out what are the past events that she attended. If possible, he also wanted to find some recordings of their interactions. He wanted to get as much information as he could. He wanted to know everything. He asked him if Thiara could help as well.
He was thankful that he was close with his dancers so he didn’t need to have a hard time asking them to help. They were even more than happy to participate. At least with this, there was one thing removed from his to-worry-list.
They may have their own responsibilities but he made it clear that if anyone can help the other group it would be appreciated. They needed to work together on this. They only have 2 weeks.
Everyone knew it was impossible but they would make it possible. If they work together, they knew they won’t only make it work but it would be a tour that everyone would enjoy and no one would ever forget.
“Therry, I think besides trying to ask Meahri, you can try searching through our followers on Instagram and Twitter. I know it would be a lot of work but I’m pretty sure she’s there.” Rayle suggested.
“But isn’t it possible that she’s not using her name there? Besides, after what happened, isn’t it possible that she deleted her account?” Therry asked.
“I don’t think she did. After all, she’s been busy with work so she doesn’t have any time to change or even delete it. And if ever she did change or delete it, she should have another account. Most fans have at least 2 Twitter accounts. I can help searching. I’ll do it in between practice.” Rayle added while other RMM artists were talking about the piece they would be performing.
The silent room half an hour ago turned into a room filled with passion and determination. A smile formed on Vhynce’s face as he watched
them.
Everyone was working hard and there was no hint of hesitation in anyone of them. They are wholehearted on this and that made him very happy. He was blessed to have them. It took him a while to realize it but it was better late than never.
After hours of talking and finalizing everything, it was time to end the meeting and start working on their parts.
“If you have any questions, suggestions or anything, feel free to speak up now.” Vhynce stood up as he planned to end the meeting if no one has anything else to add until he heard Rayle.
“You said you’d be shouldering all the expenditures right?” He sounded hesitant. He didn’t want to offend Vhynce especially at his current state.
“I know what you’re trying to say Rayle. Don’t worry about it. This is the last resort I have to get Meahri back. If I had to lose everything to get her back, I will. I won’t leave a cent if that’s what it takes. I just want her back. If this won’t work, I don’t know what will.” Desperation and sincerity was obvious in his voice.
He was rich, yes, but shouldering the expenses would cost him a lot, an amount of money that he never spent in his entire life. He spent on luxurious things but this one was different. Whether he’d have money left or he’d owe people money after this, he didn’t give a damn.
Right now, the only thing that mattered to him was getting Meahri back.
“We both know I like Meahri. I want her but I know she can only be happy with you. I’ll shoulder my own expenses, plane tickets, everything. And you don’t need to pay me. I’m willing to do this for free for Meahri.” Rayle confessed.
“Are you sure Rayle? You don’t need to do this. I’m asking for everyone’s help and none of you need to sacrifice anything else for this.” Vhynce knew he needed all the help he can get but he can’t afford to make his family suffer because he was an ass. It was his mistake and there was no way he’d make his family suffer for him.
He treated it like it was one of the ways of fate to make him pay for what he did to Meahri.
“I’ve never been sure of anything else in my life.” It was obvious that Rayle won’t take no for an answer.
He loved Meahri. He had his eyes on her since the first time they met her but seeing that look on his CEO’s face, he knew he needed to give her up. If it was up to him, he didn’t want to but he knew damn well that Meahri could only be truly happy with Vhynce. He didn’t want to be part of Vhynce’s plan to get her back but he also knew it was the only way for Meahri, his love, to go back to her old lovely and bright self.
“Thanks Rayle. I owe you big time.” He smiled and Rayle smiled back.
Just by looking at each other, the two had an agreement, an agreement that only the two of them understood.
The next second, Vhynce felt someone’s arm was on his shoulder. He looked on his left and it was Ryan. “The first time I met Meahri, I didn’t like her.” He stopped when everyone glared at him.
If looks could kill, he had been dead by now.
“You were a fucking rockstar! As your manager, it’s normal for me to do so. It was hard not to doubt the people who wants to work with you especially girls.”
He looked at Peter. The way they looked at each other gave you the impression that they’re agreeing on the same thing. He was his manager and Peter was his assistant. Their main job was to take good care of their rock star.
Whatever happens, it was the first on their list.
“But after knowing her more, I was able to see it with my own eyes that she was different. When I first saw it, I still doubted her but as time passed by, I came to realize that everything about her was real. She might have lied about being your fangirl but I know that everything else was real.”
“I was waiting for her to reach you and she did. She may not deserve you but you need her. I’m pretty sure everyone in this room agrees with me. Regarding the expenditure, both Peter and I will shoulder all our expenses as well. We’re with Rayle on this. I like Meahri. You may not know it but she changed you Vhynce. She really did. She made you a better man.” His voice was filled with seriousness.
He learned to like the girl. She wasn’t the type of girl that he imagined to be with his boy but she was definitely what his boy needed.
“I think everyone here is agreeing about the same thing.” Tyler cut in.
“I guess the only thing you need to worry about now is getting Meahri back. Once you have that last stage, there’s no turning back. It’s your last straw, Vhynce.” He was surprised that Therry was now standing on his other side.
His manager on his left, his brother on his right, his family in front of him. He couldn’t ask for anything more except for his girl. He was blessed to have such an amazing family with him.
It was almost perfect but not just yet. It won’t be until he got his girl back.
“I owe every one of you big time. I appreciate all the help. I know I’m asking so much but I am.” He begged. He had never been this desperate in his life.
“Save the mushy words boss. Let’s get Meahri back!” Rayle exclaimed. His remark made everyone laugh. They knew Vhynce very well and he was never the sentimental type but he became one because he was too desperate to get his girl back.
Right now, in Vhynce’s world, the only thing that mattered to him was to get Meahri back and nothing else. In order to make people understand, for him, it was even more important than breathing.
“Fuck you Rayle!” Vhynce retorted.
“I know.” Rayle said sarcastically.
“But kidding aside, thank you for helping me on this one. “ He insisted.
“Save your thanks when you get Meahri back.” Therry butted in.
They just had to put more salt on his fresh wound, don’t they?
“Fine. Let’s get to work!” He dismissed the meeting and everyone worked on their own parts.
Therry left the building and went to Thiara to ask for help. Ryan and Peter left the building as well. They needed to go to the concert hall that they would use for the concert in New York, which would be the last stop of the US tour.
The staff was the ones left in the meeting room to talk about how they would divide the parts and what marketing strategy would be most effective. They didn’t even have to worry too much about marketing. It was a US tour of Vhyncent Vinhelm. All they had to do was confirm the dates. They might be surprised that the tickets would be sold out the same day the tickets were released.
It was Vhyncent Vinhelm, the rockstar they’re talking about.
Vhynce and his RMM family went to one of the studios in the building. They needed to plan the line up for the concert and decide which piece each of them would perform.
There were a lot of things happening and Meahri didn’t even have any idea about it. She was busy after all. She rarely sees other people unless they drop by and hang out at her place.
Just like that a week passed by.
********
As the first stop of the US tour got near, each of them got lesser sleep. They knew it was coming but they were more tired than they expected. It was unavoidable. How can you arrange a tour in just 2 weeks? It was impossible but they’re making it possible.
Ryan and Peter were able to finish booking all the venues that they need for the whole tour. They were thankful that they didn’t have a hard time booking last minute, thanks to the big rockstar name they’re holding. They were also able to finish getting their plane tickets. The only things that they haven’t finish were the hotels and the car reservations.
RMM artists were done working on and finalizing the line up for the concert. Each of them was able to choose the piece that they would be performing. The only thing they had to do now and the coming week was to practice their parts.
As expected, the marketing wasn’t a problem at all. The staff released the date last week around Wednesday and that same day all the tickets for all the dates were all sold out.
How can they forget that Vhynce was a famous rockstar that being retire
d for 3 years didn’t make any difference?
They finished contacting the people to help them arrange the sounds and lights they would need for the tour. The only thing left that they need to do was test everything and make sure that everything will go as planned.
As for Therry and Thiara, they were good at what they were doing. Vhynce made the right decision in giving them the responsibility of finding out about Meahri as a fangirl. They were able to find out that she was known as ‘Secret’ in the fanworld and they were also able to find her site. The hardest part for them was finding photos and recordings of their interaction. The girl seemed to know where the cameras were and didn’t want to be in any of those lenses.
Everything was going pretty well.
While everyone was busy doing their own things, Vhynce was with his dancers. They were busy practicing at one of the rooms at RMM. He too was sleepless. He didn’t know how he was surviving it but he was pretty sure it was the determination and desperation inside of him that kept him going.
He was only doing this to get Meahri back. He never thought he’d ever do something like this but he did. He was willing to do it for his girl, his only fangirl.
Chapter Three
For the past three weeks, Vhynce and his RMM family were busy with the concert and when they weren’t, they’re busy practicing. There was barely time for sleep. All of them were tired. Despite everything, they were happy. They knew that everything was for a great cost. Not only were they helping Vhynce to get Meahri back but they’re also helping a charity.
He didn’t want to drag everyone into this but he also knew that he wouldn’t be able to pull this through if it weren’t for their help. Once the tour ended, he had to remember to reward each one of them but for now, he needed to focus on getting Meahri back.
Whatever it took, he would make goddamn sure to get her back.
And so it happened.
A week later.
During his concert in Illinois, while he was in the middle of one of his performances, he accidentally injured his arm. Despite his injury, he decided to continue the concert.
